Rudy Giuliani will flip on Trump ‘in a heartbeat,' Michael Cohen says

NEW YORK — Michael Cohen on Thursday ripped Rudy Giuliani as a greedy “idiot” who deserves to get raked over the coals by federal prosecutors for doing President Donald Trump’s dirty work and trying to profit off it.

Michael Cohen, who was attorney for former President Donald Trump, arrives at his Park Avenue home after being released from federal prison on furlough due to medical concerns related to COVID-19 on May 21, 2020, in New York City.

The former fixer for Trump said he personally warned Giuliani that he would eventually end up on the short end of the stick because Trump “doesn’t care about anyone or anything.”

“He’s been involved in some very, very shady stuff and now it’s all gonna come out,” Cohen said on CNN.

Sounding like he’s regained some of his New York swagger after a humiliating stint in prison, Cohen explosively predicted that the former mayor would eventually flip on his ex-boss and cooperate with the feds.

“Do I think Rudy will give up Donald in a heartbeat? Absolutely,” said Cohen.

“He knows exactly what’s coming down the road and he knows how to avoid it,” Cohen said. “He’s going to start talking: 1, 2, 3.″

The feds raided Giuliani’s office and home early Wednesday morning seeking evidence of wrongdoing in the Ukraine scandal in which Trump’s then-personal lawyer sought dirt on rival Joe Biden.

Giuliani denies any wrongdoing and says he’s being railroaded by Democrats for his strong support of Trump. The former president blasted the raids targeting Giuliani as “so unfair.”

Cohen suggested that the raids may help the feds dig up even more damaging lines of investigation, possibly involving the former president, his relatives or other cronies in the “garbage can orbit of Donald Trump.”

“Rudy’s been shady for a long time,” Cohen said. “What you’re gonna find is it’s going to expand the investigation, maybe into other areas that Rudy doesn’t possibly even remember.”

Cohen added that Giuliani could become his own worst enemy when the feds start combing through his phones and laptops.

“Rudy’s an idiot, he drinks too much and he acts in an erratic manner,” Cohen said. “Who knows what’s on those telephones and computers?”
