Here’s when the Social Security Administration (SSA) will issue payments this month:

Who Gets Paid This Week?
If you’re part of Group 1, meaning you started receiving Social Security before May 1997, you’re set to receive your June 2025 benefit on Tuesday, June 3.
If you received Supplemental Security Income (SSI) in May, your June payment was already issued on May 31 due to the first of the month falling on a weekend.
Who Has to Wait?
Most beneficiaries—including those who qualify for:
- Retirement benefits after May 1997
- Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI)
- Survivor benefits
- SSI if newly enrolled
…will not receive any additional payments until at least June 12.

Why the Delayed Payment?
The SSA schedules payments based on:
